1980s manual for expectant parents - many photos

This book advocates that parents take an active role in making childbirth decisions. It is an attractive and highly readable book with many black and white photos and illustrations. This book emerged out of the movement to make hospitalized birth more humane and people-friendly. Topics include fetal development, prenatal advice, birth method choices, stories of personal birth experiences, father involvement, and caring for the newborn. An interesting read for the expectant mother!
