The best bread book ever!!

This cookbook is the best bread cookbook I own. Every recipe I have tried has been excellent! It's a staple in my kitchen, and I would definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone who loves to bake.

A definite must have if you want to make bread!

This is one of my favorite cookbooks! The yeast breads are all superb! There is a recipe for fresh bread that literally takes one hour, and a hamber roll recipe that takes only 40 minutes! You can have fresh bread for dinner for literally pennies on the dollar, and in today's economy that is worth the price of the book! The tips and hints are great help.

Great bread book

I've actually only tried 2 recipes so far, but they were both fantastic. The apple crunch muffins were extremely flavorful and easy to make - everyone at work loved them. The crescent roll recipe I tried was fairly easy, and still tasted great and had a great texture even though I wasn't able to let them rise properly before baking. This book also contains a lot of different types of recipes. Along with your traditional sweet/breakfast muffins, there are also lots of savory recipes to accompany stews/dinner dishes and some recipes that are just plain unusual(some even contain ground beef/sausage). There are recipes for fried breads as well. This book has an amazing variety, and there are very few recipes (if any) that I don't want to try. I recommend this to anyone who loves breads of all kinds. I cant wait to try out more recipes!

Every muffin recipe is wonderful!

I've tried 8-10 of the muffin recipes in this book, and they're all terrific (giving them away is like bragging about your cooking ability). I haven't tried many of the other bread recipes in here, but the Country test kitchen does such a good job of screening recipes that I doubt I'll be disappointed.
