Whoa!

I have to disagree with your accessment! This book is funny and actually his wife edited it. Did you not read the Donny Osmond or Christopher Lowell chapter? I think you may have not been able to differentiate between the real and the surreal. From what I read he wrote this in about five weeks after having been laid off due to 9/11 cuts.Are you politically correct? Because this book definitely isn't! Shawna LA

This book is quite a ride!

Actually I thought he trashed cable TV and instead said he only watches Sister Wendy. But Beautiful Monsters was my favorite book since Confederacy of Dunces. It makes you laugh almost the whole time with a couple of crys thrown in for good measure. I recommend it for all unless you're politically correct or a Sunday School teacher.
