The book is a documentation of the Architectural Prize of the State of Styria, which is well known beyond Austria's borders. The prize is awarded every two years in cooperation with the respected Haus der Architektur in Graz.

The buildings are selected by internationally known architects. This year, the submissions were reviewed by Tina Gregoric (dekleva gregoric architects). She has recently been awarded the "best architects 16 award". The bibliophilic design of the book was produced by the outstanding designer Paulus Dreibholz, who has received the State Prize for one of the most beautiful Austrian books.

The generously illustrated book presents the nominated buildings with text, drawings, and photographs.
