Easy to use Social Studies Curriculum

I realized that history and social studies are really 2 different subjects. This text is a social studies curriculum. What I have noticed about both this curriculum and the Harcourt Health and Fitness curriculums is that they cover the same topics each year, but to a different depth. Age appropriate topics are introduced so that children's background knowledge is developed and then built upon in a way that they can assimilate into their knowledge bank. For homeschooling, I use this text, the activity book, and the assessment book. Each lesson in the text has questions and a short activity at the end of it. This is a wonderful way to get a great curriculum for an inexpensive price if you buy it used.
