You will read this rewarding anthology for a lifetime!

This book is a gold mine for those looking to sample the spirit of Asian classics. The Sufi tales by themselves make this book worth its price. This also has one of the best versions of the Indian play Shakuntala and a judiciously edited Gita Govinda that only enhances the beauty of the poem. I wish Mentor Books would revive this series and do one on each of the countries highlighted.
