Very good step-by-step guide

A great little book. Not only for young writers. Many examples and illustrations from mystery books and movies are used to encourage you to write your own mystery story. Step-by-step it leads you through the building blocks of a story: plot, characters, details of setting, wrap-up. And what to do next: publication (or not), writing groups, starting a new story, etc. Writing is fun! If you read, more than one book from this series though, you'll find that especially the early chapters and the final chapters show many similarities, some adjusted to the genre, some not.
