Our Employees Love It!

As President and COO of a manufacturing company and CEO of several companies previously, I wish I had had this remarkable book long ago. What is most impressive is how the employees here enthusiastically embrace the utilization of the four pieces of the accountability puzzle. They now feel empowered to hold themselves and their colleagues accountable for getting it done right the first time. Internal and external communications have greatly improved. Mistakes are decreasing, frustration levels have greatly diminished and we have only been using this book for nine weeks.

An essential tool for leaders.

Winning with accountability is essential for people in leadership roles. It's a very quick, easy to read, practical, and motivating book that gives any leader solutions to the common challenges we face everyday. Clear and concise accountability is what is speaks, and a great tool to help you navigate and build a culture of accountability within the corporate world.

A small investment of time with huge benefit to productivity.

Packed with great advice and examples for creating accountability upfront. A quick read (took me about an hour), direct, to the point information. I intend to provide copies for my staff so we can all begin speaking in accountable language to improve communicaton with and expectations of each other.

Enlightening and Career Enriching

This book is a must-have, for both personal and career success. What an asset! 'Winning with Accountability' helps me to develop and practice valuable techniques that have enriched my career and personal life. This easy-to-follow book gives specific examples that enable me to assess my personal habits and language when dealing with all aspects of accountability. I am now more aware of what is needed to keep progress moving, whether it is dealing with clients, colleagues or personal relationships. With this new awareness, I immediately see ways to apply the practices and philosophies of this book. Everyone can benefit from reading this book!

Very powerful and simple tools that can be applied immediately

This book wins with its simplicity and pertinence to global businesses. I was able to apply straight away the book's language tools and the four-step accountability process in working with my teams, whose members are spread across time zones. I am finding myself getting more done in less time, and I can feel our focus ramping up. I am using the tools to communicate my expectations in a visual way so that they stick in people's minds, to check for understanding so that my team members don't go off and do work that is not helpful, and to ensure everyone is on the same page on "who does what by when". There is less room for misunderstandings, and more room for results. This book is an excellent way for leaders to start a cultural shift in their organization, away from the traditional blaming and "force-fed" accountability, towards a culture of enthusiasm, openness and mutual support.
