Valuable beyond Belief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Yet another incredible quick read by Stephen James and David THomas! However, you will definetly find yourself rereading passages over and over astounded by their examples of how boys really act in certain settings. This is a book that every teacher and parent needs to have in their collection. You become taken in by Stephen and David's grasp on the rites of passage that boys take and truly learn how to value, love and nurture our boys so that we can help them become a valued loving kind person in this universe. As an educator and a mother of one "wild thing" , it is such a blessing to understand just how and why our boys think and do the "unthinkable" at times. This book should be your reference guide to finding out these reasons. Buy this book and enjoy every moment crying, laughing, and loving boys. I am really enjoying reading this book. It is easy to read and makes a lot of sense! I'm even going to recommend my husband read it.

This is a wonderful, touching book about boys growing up. I raised three sons, myself, and everything in the book is true, so wise. Whether you are a young mother, a grandmother, or a wife, this book will help you understand what guys are made of.

Must have for single moms of boys

Wild Things is a must have for single moms who are raising boys. It is a welcome handbook that will help any mom understand the different stages that a boy goes through to become a man. It helped me celebrate the way my boys are wired instead of being frustrated by it! I can't say enough about this book, but if I could afford to, I would pass them out in the parking lot of every elementary or middle school in my city! Thanks so much David and Stephen for helping moms like me!

Best Book on Raising Boys

As a mother to all boys, you can imagine I have read my share of books on raising boys. If there was ever a manual in raising boys, this is it! Stephen James and David Thomas understand what it takes to develop a boy into manhood. In Wild Things they guide readers through the five stages of a boy's development, detailing each stage, along with new principles to put into action. They also cover topics in how parents should discuss sex, homosexuality, and pornography with their boys. Stephen James and David Thomas lay out the three most important factors in keeping a boy from experimenting with drugs, along with the role of a father and the role of a mother in raising them to become a man. If you are raising a boy or know someone that is, I highly recommend his book. Even though my boys are high school age, I still use it for reference.
