"Love, God!"

Much like a Parent, God wants the best for us...even when things look bleak, He sees beyond this. Coincidence is something that we humans find "Interesting," but not recognizable at that moment. It's as if God speaks to our Immortal Spirit/Soul, and our Mind catches up, later. In that moment we are: Shocked, Saddened, Grateful, and everything else in-between. Rushnell provides numerous incidents (mostly about Actors, Newsmakers, and Politicians) whom most readers will recognize; but those "winks" are often similar to what we might also recognize as: Fate, in our own lives. You'll enjoy reading this book, and it fits nicely in a pocket or purse...😉

God once winked at my daughter. When my now 38 year old daughter was 4 and I was a part of a weekend retreat called "Christ Renews His Parrish", I brought my daughter with me to pray in the chapel for the participants. We, the adults, were discussing the weekend and I mentioned a coincidence, she interrupted me to say "But that's not a coincidence mommy, that's a GODINCIDENCE". To this day all our family has to do is look at each other during one of these moments and simply says "Godincidence". Thoroughly enjoyable

This was an enjoyable book from the first page to the last. We all have moments of coincidence and this book puts into perspective that these moments do not "just happen"...putting the focus on God. I love the imagery of God "winking" at such a moment as if to say, "Hey there kid, I'm thinking about you right now." Now whenever a coincidence happens in my life, I find myself winking back to say, "Thank You, God...I'm thinking about You right now, too!" Very well written. Hats off to SQuire Rushnell for an exceptionally good book!

A friend of mine bought me "when god winks" as a birthday gift. I can honestly say it was the best gift i've ever received. It literally changed my life! I always knew there was more to coincidence than meets the eye. It gave me the confidence to follow my instincts. the book taught me to map my coincidences and it is incredible how it works!

great summer reading

I read this book over the course of a few days and then I went back and reread parts of it again. It gave me a lot to think about, just what do coincidences in our lives mean. It really made me think about my past and track all the coincidences so I could see how they've been influencing me all these years and encouraging me to go on. Now I keep a "wink" diary so I can use the coincidences and put myself in a position to get more of them showing me where I'm going or if where I'm going is right for me. The idea really reinforced that I did the right thing resigning my job last year, even though things have been ok on my own I still wondered...I don't wonder any more. I know I did the right thing. Really helpful, loved the stories and the section at the end of the chapters highlighted what the author was saying. Great book, I'm loving re-reading it again and again.
