I have led the 40 Days of Purpose 3 times in the past 3 years and it impacted my life greatly. But, its impact is no comparison to the change the 40 Days of Community brought within. I have learned how to love God and others better! It also helped me administer church discipline better as a pastor in a way which is more Christ-like. He has done it again!

I loved this book as much as his Purpose Driven Life bestseller. Rick Warren has a way of writing that is simple yet profound in bringing out the most important points we must consider in our Christian experience. This book is vital in tackling the struggle we face in our culture that drives us to isolation and independence, when God's truth reveals that we function so much better when we do life together...involved with other people, committing ourselves to each other, supporting and encouraging one another and just being together sharing life through good times and bad. He shines the light on the Scriptures that urge us to do life together, and gives us perfect bites one day at a time to consider and implement daily as we seek to be more like Christ and live a life that God desires us to live....one that is focused on relationships. I found that as I made a commitment to other people in my Small Group Bible study, my joy and peace has increased ten-fold. Doing life together really is Better..Together.
