Though it is not the most current version, it has everything you need to guide you through a writing assignment.

Wonderful Book

I purchased this book in my first week of class. Since then I have used in 4 other classes! This book is a must have for any student! The book contains wonderfully detailed examples. I would recommend this book to anyone entering college, even for high school students. My daughter has used it a few times for her high school english class. I will keep this one for many years!!!

Great little compact...

Easy to use tabs. Provides everything you need to know if you are writing upper-level academic essays and more. Purchased mine for graduate business school so the APA Style information is especially helpful.

This book is indispensable in helping the student create quality and error-free formal class papers. The LBCH is easy to read, divides aides by category, and gives examples of the help the student is searching for. I recommend this book to any new student entering college.

A great resource

I ordered this book because it was on a list of required texts for a class I am currently enrolled in. I wish I had this book years ago; it would have helped a great deal in high school and in the time since then in college and even in helping my younger brother to write his reports. Not only does it give the basic mechanics of writing but it also completely explains the MLA, APA, and Chicago styles of documentation. Each section has a thumb tab and an index for ease in finding needed info.
