Another Delicous Book from Paula Deen!!!

Paula Deen is definnitely my favorite - and if you sample any of the recipes in this book - you'll know why!!! Nothing fat-free here - thank goodness - just good old fashioned home-style cooking - the kind of food everyone really wants to eat!!! When I make a Paula Deen recipe - I'm always asked for seconds - the diet gets put on hold!!!

Compliments to the chefs

I have the other books of Paula's and this is like the cherry on the sundae. It compliments the other books and is just like her - fantastic. Have only had this book a short time so have only tried 3-4 recipes so far. Each one has been delicious and easy to put together. If you like Paula's show, you'll love this book.

Like having a girl friend around

It's nice to have the recipes I have copied off the Food Network all in a book. Paul's recipes are easy to follow and oh, so good to make. The "Georgia Spiced Pecans" are a lot like the ones my mother use to make. My "Mother's Congealed Salad" is one similar to the one my mohter made when I was a child. Also, her little stories all through the book are like having her there visiting with you. The book is not only a book of recipes, but also a good novel.

This cookbook is for all of us that miss BUTTER!- I have the book and can tell you that the recipes are simple and easy to do, not to mention fantastic. While it may not lower your cholesterol, It will warm your heart to eat all those foods your Mom used to make. No hunting the gourmet food isle for items you can pronounce let alone find! Paula Deen is a true Southern Lady who leads with her spoon!

looking through this book, it was not if I was going to use a receipe but where to start. It's going to make the holiday cooking (both when my kids and their families come home and also drop in company) a lot eaier. If you only want just one cookbook - get this one!!!
