Great book for all drivers

Great book for those preparing to get behind the wheel and for those who have many miles under their belt. I would recommend as a great choice for the new driver in your home. BUT, I would not recommend you buy this for your wife if you think she is a bad driver. She will not appreciate it (even if it is a great book). The book is divided into chapters and topics with small scenarios for each situation. Great chapter on necessities one may need in their car.

As a Driving instructor, i was expecting a book on "how to drive safely," but it is an excellent considering its purpose. It has some ideas that i consider to be excelent, such as: 1)Matinance hints 2)Safety suggestions 3)Handling some tricky situations 4)Handeling the police 5)Highway emergiancies ..., i could go forever as just as the book's title indicates, "Everything New Drivers Need to Know, But Don't Know, 'or afraid to ask." if u lookin 4 sumting 2 read b4 gettin ur driver's license dis book iz gr8t i borrowed it from da library but after readin it i had 2 buy it i wud hav 2 call it a car drivin survival guide i am not a person who enjoy readin n get bored fast but i actually lik readin it n read da whole ting in week wit 20min readin per day not only da fact i really want 2 b ready 2 drive but da book iz written 2 b easy on da eyez n has interestin facts dat wil make u keep on readin gr8t job Karen Gravelle with illustrations by Helen Flook thanx for all of dat useful info

Good Starter Book

The "The Driving Book: Everything New Drivers Need to Know but Don't Know to Ask" book was one of just a few choice reference sources for my safe driving CD "Mind the Road - Mind the Road: Waking Hypnosis for a Conscious Commute. The advice and recommendations from this book were an inspiration for the suggestions my audio CD gives to drivers as they start their drive to have a safe and focused drive. I would recommend this book with my audio CD to help drivers be prepared for what potentials the road may present to them.
