What is the edition?

While purchasing this, for the life of me I could not find what edition it was. Why was this not in the description? I took a chance buying it anyway, and now can’t even use it for class, so I know this is mostly my fault. But please, detailing the edition of the textbook is important.

A really well done textbook

The Cosmic Perspective is an engaging, interesting, and very visual textbook. It explains astronomical concepts very clearly and I have enjoyed reading it for my class. Altogether, I would recommend it for study as well as for the intrepid amateur astronomer that's interested in learning how the universe works. Have you ever looked up at the moon and the stars and wondered why the moon looks a certain way or how far away that bright star is? If you have, you should buy this book!

There could not be a more well written book covering every aspect of basic astronomy. No detail has been overlooked and the language is precisely clear. As one progresses through the text, it unwinds like a well written novel, with the only difference being that it is all actual fact and not fiction. Well done!

The writing style combined with the excellent illustrations make even fairly complex subject simple and understandable. Even their descriptions of things like relativity are so simple that anyone can understand them.
