Great read!!

This is a good read for a lazy day. I enjoyed this so much.

Blizzard in the Summer

It is summer in Moose County. The town of Brrr is clebrating an important birthday. They ask Qwill to write another one man show about a blizzard many many years ago. Along the way Qwill finds out there has been a murder on his property at the lake. Koko is not fooled. He knows what is going on. Escape to Moose County and Pickax. Become a friend of one of the richest men in North America. Read "The Cat Who," series.

Happy Cats-giving!

Am I going to be sick? I think I ate(read) too much! I couldn't help myself myself because this wonderful title sated my appetite for mystery, cats ('natch), and turkey. Nuff said. This is perhaps the most invigorating marriage of turkey and cats I've yet read. You don't have to be a pilgrim to give thanks for Mr. L. J. Braun!

Will reach both prior and new fans

Lilian Jackson Braun's latest offering in her 'Cat Who...' mystery series will reach both prior and new fans with the ongoing investigations of one James Qwilleran and feline pals Koko and Yum Yum. Here the manager of Qwill's estate decides to invest in re-building a small town's bookstore: an event which proceeds happily until murder strikes. It's up to Qwill and his band of feline investigators to uncover the perp - and his connection to doomed bookstores.

As pleasant as the rest in the Series.

I have read every book in the series at least three times, and as always, this book is a pleasant folksy book that makes you feel as though these are all old friends. While it would have been nice for Koko to have taken a bigger part in the story it was enjoyable nonetheless. Some other reviewers seem to think that all of Ms. Braun's books must be hair raising suspense mysteries. She has made a whole community come to life for a lot of us and I would like to thank her for persevering after so many years. Forty-plus years is a long time. Keep up the great work! I only wish she would bring out more than one a year.
