Texas Ranger Cookbook

I like this book. Not so much for the recipies but for the Texas Ranger history. It does have some humor to it. Check out the Best-Ever Rum Cake on page 70.

Authentic Texas Cooking!

I was born and raised in Texas. Now I am 69 years old, and this cookbook has recipes for dishes I have experienced in my life. I found this at a gas station, scanned it, bought it, and laid it on a shelf. Recently I picked it up looking for a recipe for King Ranch Chicken, and found it in there. Since then I have tried 4 more recipes and all of them are Outstanding. If you want a cookbook that has Authentic Texas cooking, this is it!

Authorized Texas Ranger Cookbook

The book is a gift for my husband's birthday in September. However, I took a peak at the recipes and can't wait for him to try them. He is a wonderful cook, bar-b-ques and smokes meat.
