Depressing but a Great book

It was a sad book. Tanis goes into an old man's memory to find his father and find the woman the old man loves, Brandella. The old man is scared that if he dies so will the memory of Brandella He wants Tanis to find her and then escape his memory before he dies. The only problem with this book is that it got pretty wierd in the near end, but the very end was cool and made up for it

The best Dragon Lance book I have read!

I think part of the reason I loved this book so much is because I can sort of relate to Tanthalas. I to, am quiet and thoughtful. Do not listen to the guy from pitssburg who only gave it one star in his review, if I could have given it a 7 star i would have. If you relate to Tanis, or are a bit curious, I strongly suggest reading this book. Or if you have thought of Tanis as a looser, or a wimp,read this book and I think you will respect, and understand him a lot more.

By far, one of the best!

This book is probably my favorite, because of all the things they used to make it great.Adventure, romance, suspense, all that good stuff.All in all, a great book!

An immerse story you won't want to miss.

This was trully one of the better DragonLance novels, and it is one of my favorites. Tanis gets drawn away from his initial quest to enter the mind of a dying wizard....and from there he embarks into an unforgetable stroy. The mix of adventure, romance, and mystery make for a fantastic experience. A must read for all fantasy readers, familiar with DragonLance or not.

Gripping, thrilling, beyond fantastic

This book in amazing ! Tanis half-elven, hero of the lance, in the years before the fated meeting in the inn of the last home, before the war of the lance. Tanis embarks on a mission into a dying wizard's memories and past in order to save the wizard's true love from her doom as the wizard dies. Tanis mostly agreed to challenge those perils in order to see his father who exists in the wizard's memory. Surpirses all the way, adventures, twists, turns, if you don't read this book you're missing on an adventure of a life-time.
