Kids Love the Feel of It

We are a professional Santa and Mrs. Claus couple. We visit homes during the 'season' and Mrs. Claus reads to the children. The book certainly keeps their interest and they love to feel the books pages. We certainly will keep this book in our collection.

Great for little ones

My boys, ages four and two, both love this book. It has a cute rhyming story, colorful illustrations, and they love feeling the different textures. This is a great book for little ones to help them get to know Santa Claus.

Enjoyed it for two Christmas seasons (so far!)

My two-year-old daughter and I have enjoyed this book for two Christmas seasons (so far!). I bought it prior to Christmas 2004, right after she turned one, and that year, she enjoyed feeling the different textures of the suits more than she enjoyed the story. This year, she likes the textures/colors of the suits, and she also recites the words of the book as I read....sometimes even using Santa's voice! It originally seemed like a good way to get her to understand about Santa Claus, and I think it worked. I think it made Santa seem more friendly to her; she has visited Santa several times this year, and asks to see him every day! We have enjoyed this book. We'll put it away after Christmas and bring it out again at Thanksgiving next year in preparation for another Christmas season. I expect it to be interesting next year too!

Great touch and feel book!

My sister-in-law bought this book for her 8 month old daughter and my 9 month old daughter and both really liked it. My daughter wanted to read it multiple times a day for the whole month of December. I only gave it 4 stars because a couple of pages weren't that interesting to her, but overall, it was a HUGE hit.
