Laugh out loud funny!

This book is hysterical! Keenan's delivery is such that any parent can understand exactly what he is talking about, all while imagining themselves in his position. My favorite has to be the chapter on Axe Bodyspray. If you are looking for light humor, or just want reassurance that pretty much all teenagers are the same, then this is a book for you! Well done, Matt Keenan!

Loved it. A book that definitely takes you back to fun and really meaningfull stages of your life. If you have a family, this is a must read!

A must read!

Well written, interesting and funny....a must read. I may be a little biasised as we know several of his siblings, parents, aunt and uncle...but I think it just makes the book more interesting. I would highly recommend it. It's easy to read, easy to pick up, and hard to put down! Hope he writes another book.

Funny collection of modern parenting trials and tribulations

I laughed out loud at least once during each essay, reading this on a plane and on vacation. People looked up to see what was so funny. I can't decide if the style of this book is like Garrison Keillor ghostwriting for Dave Barry or vice versa, but the outcome is very enjoyable. If you have teenagers, were ever involved with Boy Scouts, coached your kid's rec-league teams, have a dog that everyone loves, or grew up in a simpler time, you'll appreciate these stories. A good collection of solid essays, long enough to dig into a subject/theme without getting lost. A great gift book that people will get hooked on from the first essay.
