Thought affects the neuro peptide levels

Healing starts with the persons mind. Bliss, DNA, Mind, and body combine to strength the neuropetides levels and allow the immune system to kill the cancer. India and Chinese approaches to healing share some come duality. The reason the author calls his approach quantum healing is because the person thinks the thought, something happens (a jump in results) (entanglement), and the body responds. Correct thinking can help the body heal, if it is not to damaged. The book is about stories of people, who heal themselves with their minds. It is a book about the potential for the mind to affect the DNA. The book illustrates indian healing power feats by the Rishi that seem dream like and surreal. The author tells numerous stories of people, who have cured themselves of cancer with their minds. However, the author did not reveal the number of people, who failed and died. The book will not teach how to heal your cancer. The book will not describe visualization techniques for activiting a state of bliss. The book will not demonstrate how entangle could happen. The mind has powerful process for control pain which far exceed modern pain medicine. Negative thoughts can strength disease and cancer. Positive thought or Bliss can strengthen the immune system which can kill the cancer like an infection.

Never Sick anymore

Dr. Chopra is personally responsible for my complete change in beliefs on being sick. In his book, he states clearly and simply that the natural state of the body is health, not illness. And after reading that, something in my mind locked onto it, believed it and for the last 10 years my body has been living it! I no longer think I need to be sick to build antibodies to various diseases, I simply allow my body to be healthy- even in the midst of coughing and wheezing people. It is a mindset for which I am extremely grateful! A highly valuable read.

Not Nonsense - some miss the point

To those reviewers that claim this book is nonsense are completely missing the point. In my opinion the author is expanding traditional Western thinking around healing. Not that we can actually study and manipulate the quantum level of our own bodies, but rather entertain new ways of enhancing our own healing through the power of our own minds Scientists can prove that being depressed, angry, or generally negative causes a negative biological reaction. Why can't the inverse be true? I recommend if you're searching for a way to better understand how your state of mind might impact your health, or are searching for alternative therapy, pick up this book.

A must-read for all doctors

Dr. Chopra's 'Quantum Healing' is a must-read for all medical professionals because being a doctor I know that over the years our minds get programmed to learn from text-books without developing any new insights and eventually we treat patients very mechanically, ignoring the human aspect of a doctor-patient relationship and also the part human consciousness can play in recovery from an illness. Dr. Chopra has done a wonderful job of highlighting some of the medical concepts which point towards an active role of human consciousness in health promotion.This book may be a difficult one for people who do not have a medical background because of frequent use of medical terminology.
