I have read this book and given it as gifts to others.

This is NOT a quick read. It is a book to savor and let soak into your soul. Because this book has been so important in my life, I have given many copies away. I am now getting ready to do a Bible study with it.

This book was not easy to read at first because of author's writing style, but I am so glad I read the whole thing. You can see her growth while you are growing!

One Thousand Gifts opens your eyes and heart to the love that God has for his children

This book is for all women who stay at home with their husband and raise their children. I wish it had been available when I was a young married woman who stayed home and cared for my family. It is absolutely amazing. The gifts God gives us are endless, if we are willing to see them as such, and seeing everything as His gifts opens up our hearts to the love he has for us and when we offer gratitude for these gifts, we are open to His indwelling in us. We become better mothers, wives and friends. We bask in God's love and kindness.

I recommend this book to everyone.
