So sad but wonderful

My husband died more than a year ago. The night before he died, he told me that he loved me more than anyone else in the world. That was something, because he had been totally fixated with his daughter who lived in Italy that he had been separated from by a divorce. Isabella was his whole life, and I lived with the knowledge that he loved her the most for 27 years of our being together. I accepted it. Then came his telling me that he loved me more. He had Parkinsons an in 5 months he went from ambulatory to wheel chair bound. I tried to take care of him as much as I could, but he died the next day. Reading the book made me feel that he was like Will. Knowing how he loved me was all that I have needed to survive.

My Heart </3

I was aware of the movie before I was made aware of the book, I hadn't seen the movie though but wanted to. A girl at work suggested the book so I gave it a shot, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect but I was truly blown away. It was one of the most romantic, feel good and heart wrenching books I have read. What a story. You go through so many emotions while you're reading this. I wish that I could read this book for the first time again.

Breezed through and loved getting to know these characters

So glad I read this book before choosing to watch the movie. The book (as usual) was so much better. It's a very easy read and I enjoyed getting to know these characters.

Me Before You; An Emotional Journey

This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions. I felt so deeply for the characters and absolutely adored the writing style. Would highly recommend! A perfect emotional journey which will leave you feeling raw yet motivated.

One of my favorites

Love this book have read multiple times.

Jojo Moyes Popping Off

To my surprised, I enjoyed it more than I expected. After purchasing the book, my motivation to read it faltered after skimming through the prologue; basically, the book spent months in my closet. I watched the movie adaption and decided to pick the novel months later. Jojo Moyes follows through a captivating story with her unique style of writing and a likeable set of characters, glad to say I indulged in the writing and I very much recommend it to anyone!

I cried so hard I literally couldn't see what I was reading

Lovely "homey" style of writing, you get so comfortable with interactions with character. They all seem so genuine and the family dynamic is hilariously relatable. Cant recommend this book enough, even from a crybaby like me I couldn't bear to put the book down.

Wow - Loved it!

Absolutely loved this book. Read it in a day and a half. Read it and make sure you have some free time because you won't want to put this one down!

A great read!

I absolutely loved this book! I watched the movie first and fell in love with it so I just knew that I had to read the book. I was not disappointed. The story follows a woman named Louisa who has just lost her job at a cafe and must now find another job to help her family make ends meet. She then finds a job taking care of a paraplegic man who at first has a very sour attitude, but they soon grow a friendship and close connection. Its interesting to see the difference in character dynamics between the book and movie. For example, Lou's sister is definitely a bit more selfish in the book than in the movie. She tends to get in more fights with her and her parents don't really try and keep it a secret that they think her sister is smarter and has more potential. There are a couple heavy subject matters that were mentioned in the book that did not occur in the movie. One involving something that happened in Lou's past and another involving William and (for lack of better words) how he plans to "handle" his situation. I understand why they were left from the movie, seeing the tone that it was trying to go for. But I'm glad that they were in the book b/c it really elevates the characters and their situations. Don't read this book thinking you'll be getting a cute little romance. Its more about Louisa's journey towards self discovery, figuring out what she wants, and how her relationship with Will changed them both. I know there are two more books in the series and I'm not sure if I'm going to read them or not. But I think the great thing about this book is that it ties up pretty well where you don't NEED to read the other two unless you really want to. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely recommend!

To all of those who love a good romance novel, this is the one for you. I can’t tell you enough the love I have for this book. I have read it about four times now and the whole trilogy twice and just can’t get enough! I love the relationship that was formed between Will and Lou. Definitely will be looking for more books like this!

I just finished it!!

Words can't describe how much I adored this book! I hit a reading slump a while back and I barely picked this book off my shelf 2 months after ordering it and I wish I would have picked it up sooner! I was lost in the bubble of Louisa and Will and everything she did to try and help him see that there was more to life than what he thought he was confined to. In the end it was always his choice as he told her. This book made me laugh, cry, and made me look at life differently A complete joy to read! I look forward to ordering JoJo Moyes, After You and Still Me!

I Picked The Book Over Sleep

I finished the book within 3 days of receiving it. I told myself I'd only read it at night as a way to slide into sleep but I just found myself turning the pages over and over again. Moyes is an absolute wordsmith and does an incredible job of painting a vivid picture of what the character is experiencing. She also does an incredible job of ripping my heart out and stomping on it.

Amazing --Me Before You

I had loads of different emotions. From judging to loving. From crying to laughing and not to mention to feel like everyone there was someone I truly met in some time of my exaiatence. Just an amazing book. Your views of life will be carefully treasured. Thank you Jojo.
