Great book!

I bought several of these books for my 5 year old grandson and he can easily read Reader 1 and some of 2. These are great books for little ones and it keeps them interested for a long time.

Great for new readers

The story of Marley is so heartwarming that it's appropriate for all ages. With this simplified, easy to read version of the novel it's great for new readers, because who doesn't love Marley?

Easy to read

Our 4 year-old loves to read this book! I was worried that it would mention how Marley passed away or say something to that effect, but thankfully it didn't. It was upbeat and she laughs each time she reads it to us.

I absolutely loved the book since I love animals. Saw the movie thinking the ending would not bother me since I knew what to expect. Reading it and seeing it are not the same. I recommend it to anyone who loves dogs.

Reviewed by Evan Weldon (age 6) for Reader Views (11/08) "Marley and Me: Meet Marley" is a good book about a yellow lab puppy named Marley. One time Marley made a humongous mess in the garage. Marley also stole a turkey from the next-door neighbor. He liked to chew on things, too. Marley was always getting in trouble, but luckily he was really cute and his family loved him. I really liked the photos in the book. One of my favorite photos was of Marley running on the beach. It was cute because his ears were flapping in the air. I would recommend "Marley and Me: Meet Marley" by Natalie Engel to people who like dogs. It was a pretty easy book to read.
