Canada's Mafia Boss and its Al Capone!

This is a fine investigative account of Canada's Al Capone, the self-proclaimed "King of the Bootleggers" who supplied Capone and Americans with booze throughout Prohibiiton and ran a criminal empire acorss CAnada until 1944. More interesting is the role his incredibly dynamic and powerful two common law wives, Bessie Starkman and Anne Newman, played in running and ruling his empire. Bessie's sensational murder in Hamilton during the Empire Games in 1930 resulted in the largest Mafia funeral in Canada's history. Rocco eventually disappeared, said to be at the bottom of Hamilton bay in the harbour. The stuff of a great mob movie!
