Kill for Me is to Die For!

I had never heard of Karen Rose, but when I saw the cover of this book I immediately had to have it (bookcrack addict!) . I'm now a HUGE fan. This book was full of excitement and drama from beginning to end. This book seemed like it was never going to end the constant action from one page to the next. The writing was excellent and the story moved like wildfire. Ms. Rose definitely has a talent for descriptive scenes that draw you into the horror and really cause you to become emotionally invested in the characters she's written. And while this book is excellent and cover is nothing short of delicious, this is definitely not a book for teens (even if they BEG you). While the book is not full of sex and swearing, the intensity of the scenes in this book aren't for children. And there are very intense scenes in this book that just take your breath away. This is definitely a great book and one that I'd recommend over and over and over again. Shortly put...Kill For Me is to die for!

A thrilling scare

Kill For Me by Karen Rose is another non-stop thriller. Susannah Vartanian has overcome a horrific childhood to become an assistant district attorney in NY. The misdeeds of her now deceased brother still reverberate today. Back in her hometown the ring of people are still operating in the trading of young woman. Susannah helps to save one of the victims and will move heaven and earth to see justice served. Luke Papadopoulos an agent of the GBI along with his partner Daniel Vartanian has been drown into the crimes going on in Daniel and Susannah's hometown. Luke has seen some terrible things in the current unit he has been working with but these crimes are monstrous Susannah agrees to work with Luke and his team to finally put a rest to crimes against young girls. Sadly the things that were done to Susannah will be coming public knowledge. Luke and Susannah both have demons to work through and being together 24/7 on this case is bringing them closer then either of them thought possible. But can Luke protect Susannah from the evil that is still out there? Karen Rose is tops in the romantic suspense genre. Her books will keep you enthralled from the get go and not let up. I adore her books and can't read them fast enough.

Amazing Book!

I thought Scream For Me was an awesome book, but Kill For Me manages to top it all! Karen Rose is a fantastic story teller. There are so many twists and turns in Kill For Me, I felt like I was racing to the finish to figure it all out. I have no idea how she keeps so many plot lines and characters going without being confusing. The only complaint I have about this book is the romance. I just never felt like Luke and Susannah had very much chemistry, and Susannah remained sort of cold and aloof throughout the entire book (which was understandable given her history, but it felt a little overdone). I loved the romance between Daniel and Alex in Scream for Me, but this one was definitely lacking. That's okay, though, because the plot stole the show and was amazing. If you are a die-hard romance person, this book probably won't be for you, but if you like mystery, suspense and a wild-ride, you will love this book!

Kill for Me by Karen Rose Let me start off by saying this is probably going to be one of the shortest reviews I have ever written... in a good way! I am afraid if I go into too much detail that it would be a spoiler to those that have read the other books in the series. Karen Rose is the author of Die for Me, and Scream for Me, a New York Times Best Seller. I can see why she made the best seller list!! Having not read her two previous books in this trilogy, I did at times feel like I had missed out on some major crucial details in Kill for Me, but every single moment of this book was engaging, and suspenseful to the max! Susannah Vartanian was one of the girls raped thirteen years ago by a group of young rich boys, and has yet to be able to live a normal life. With the help of Agent Luke Papadopoulos and the whole PD and FBI Dept's in Dutton, Georgia and a few other states, Susannah may finally get some insight to her past, and find out what her brother Simon had going on in his sick head. Susannah is about to discover that her whole life has been something other than what she has known, she will have to do something she has never done before. Lean on Luke to help her through this, that may prove to be more difficult that either could have ever expected. Nothing is as it seems in Kill for Me, there are so many dark buried secrets, a huge cast of characters, and a whole lot of danger. Explosive, cunning, and purely magnificent, I have no other choice but to pick up the other two novels I haven't read. Karen Rose has got the skill it takes to enthrall a reader. In the beginning I was overwhelmed because as I said I think I missed a lot of history from not reading Die for Me and Scream for Me, this shouldn't be a stand alone book... but somehow it kind of works. 5 Hearts Hachette Book Group ISBN# 0446510300
