Key of Valor

The third installment in the key series is focused on Zoe McCourt and Bradley Vane's story. Zoe is a single mother, and she has had to struggle to raise her son. She was an unwed teenage mother who was abandoned by her first love James Marshall. As Zoe gets to know Bradley, she is horrified to see the similarities between he and James. It becomes obvious that to get close to the third key, Zoe must get over her trust issues, and rely on Bradley to help her. As in the past books, Kane becomes even more evil, and lives end up hanging in the balance. A very good conclusion to the Key series. The male/female relationships were done well, but what outshined those, was the relationship that developed between the three women. Dana, Malory, and Zoe were all very different women with different life experiences, but instead of the differences being a hindrance, those differences strengthened their bond. You could feel the strong friendship between them.

JOIN THE ULTIMATE QUEST FOR COURAGE

Well, #1 New York best-selling author Nora Roberts has done it again, with a tell of the ultimate quest for courage. This is the 3rd novel in the Key Trilogy, they revolve around three strangers who become involved in a mystery about three keys that each unlock a box holding the souls of three goddesses. In the Key of Valor, Zoe must go on her quest for the 3rd Key, while finding the courage to trust her heart with someone again. Zoe must come to face her desire for Brad, and the relationship and bond he has with her son Simon. Could her destiny be looking her square in the eyes? Meanwhile Kane the evil sorcerer who imprisoned the three goddesses, does everything in his power to stop her from her quest of finding the third and final key. This is a wonderful ending to Nora Roberts Key Trilogy, it's wonderful to see good win over evil.

Great Trilogy

I really like this entire trilogy, it moved quick and kept me wondering what was going to happen next. They were great, breezy reads that didn't require a lot of indepth thought. I really liked all of the main characters and felt their personalities were developed well in the series -- it was as if I knew them. These are good books!

Best of the Three

I wish I had not finished this book so very fast (but who could help it?) because I loved it half to death. The third in Roberts' new "Key" trilogy, "Key of Valor" tells the story of Zoe, the last of the three seemingly ordinary Pennsylvania women who must find a magic key as part of a Celtic quest. As I mentioned in my reviews of the two earlier books, "Key of Light" and "Key of Knowledge," only Nora Roberts could make such an outlandish plot completely believeable. You've got your basic gods and goddesses--stuck in our world for over 3000 years. You've got a nasty evil sorcerer. You've got your magic spells, your swirling fogs, your not-so-coincidental coincidences. Sigh. And it all makes a perfect whole.Zoe, a highly self-sufficient woman who had a son out of wedlock at the age of 16, has fought every day since to make a good life for her beloved child and for herself. And by taking on odd jobs, pinching pennies, and becoming a master at do-it-yourself projects, she has succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. Only Zoe cannot see the gift she has brought to others--she is too busy raising her son and fighting like a tigress against anyone who wants to help her. But she must have help if she is to find the final key to unlock the captive souls of three half-human, half-goddesses.That would mean she needs a male in the picture, perhaps one Bradley Vane IV, man of privilege and family. And that is the very last thing she wants or needs, even though he attracts her like no other.A perfect Nora plot, a perfect Nora ending. Read it and treat yourself to some mindless bliss.
