Junjo Romantica Volume 10 (It's Time to Decide Who Misaki Loves: Usagi-san or Haruhiko)

Misaki's life seems to get more complex by the minute when he deals with the Usami family. January 15th is the date for Usagi-san and Misaki to head to the hot springs in Atami. But their plans are nearly ruined when Usagi-san has to attend a family conference (because Usagi-san's grandfather passed away - may he rest in peace). They somehow manage to make time for both events, but Mr. Usami doesn't let Misaki go without putting his two cents in. Misaki appears to spend the whole trip thinking about Mr. Usami's words. Will Misaki ever be the same? Plus, act 16 reveals which brother Misaki will choose. Will Misaki leave Usagi-san for Haruhiko, or will he stay loyal to Usagi-san? One thing is clear Usagi-san is jealous of any man that comes near Misaki, including Mr. Injuuin (Misaki's favorite manga author). How will Usagi-san react when Misaki confesses his love to Mr. Injuuin? Meanwhile, Nowaki is anxious about spending Valentine's Day with Hiro-san and receiving chocolates. Hiro-san finds it weird, but how will Nowaki act when Hiro-san gives him chocolates? And why is Hiro-san hiding from Nowaki in the bathroom? Shungiku Nakamura answers all these questions on Junjo Romantica Volume 10. As the story progresses, I notice that each couple has dealt with (or is dealing with) a love rival. I enjoy reading about love triangles and seeing the main character's loyalty being put to the test. I can't wait for the next volume to see the characters' love grow. One last note on this specific volume: the characters' anime profiles are included in this volume, which I appreciate.

If you love a good story and just enough smex that it's not over done then this is the series for you! I own all of them that have been translated into english and I hope she continues to write!

I hope this author never runs out of material for this series! I really do love it! Vast Majority of this Manga is about Misaki and Usagi. (Junjo Romantica) 10 or so pages are of Hiroki and Nowaki. (Junjo Egoist) There is no Miyagi/Shinobu (Junjo Terrorist) in this one. Warnings: There is a 'parental advisory/explicit content' warning with this Manga. It reads right to left in traditional style. This is a Boys Love/Yaoi Manga.

To Short!!

While this book has half the pages as the previous ones, (1thru 8) it was a great read. Misaki is coming to terms with his feelings about Akihiko. When papa Usami warns them about how different they are Misaki jumps in the conversation and defends their relationship. Also big brother Usami makes an unexpected move on Misaki that he doesn't see coming when they lock lips. Akihiko drags Misaki off in a jealous rage when he hears Misaki yelling, he loves another writer in front of everyone at the office. The short valentine story at the end was cute. I just wish there was more. (sniff, sniff) Hope this is helpful!
