Don't Order!

This book does not specify its a guide. I didnt need the guide. I needed the actual book. This is so wrong!

Wrong Item Twice

Be VERY careful ordering from this company. I ordered this and got a study guide, not a textbook. they would not refund. I ordered again and got the wrong edition. the company is completely unhelpful and will not refund when its their error. I wont order again.

Ordered a textbook, received a "study guide" workbook

I ordered a textbook, but, instead of the textbook, received a "study guide," which is a workbook, not an actual textbook. Don't order if you are not prepared to receive this instead of an actual textbook.

I received two of these (8th edition) and neither was large print as indicated in the title description. It looks like it has some good material as far as diagrams but has smaller than normal sized print rather than anything approaching large print.

Exactly as described

The product was exactly as described. Though the shipping took a bit longer than I thought, it was fine. Would buy from same user again.

Human anatomy

I purchased this book as a requirement for a human anatomy class. The book is very detailed, but flows well and the concepts are easily understood. It is one of the better science book I have used.

Human Anatomy & Physiology

This Anatomy book provides great figures and tables that are easy to comprehend, unlike many other similar books. Explanations are given to clarify any question that the student may have.

Even High Schoolers Use It

I am in an Anatomy & Physiology class in my high school. Our teacher went out and bought this book from local colleges used and in both paper and hard back editions. I like this textbook, because it uses a lot of color, diagrams, and real life stories. It also condenses all of your basic A & P in one 200 page book in an easy to read and understand format. I would recommend this textbook for your basic Anatomy and Physiology class.

"Human Anatomy and Physiology" - Dr. Elaine Marieb

I am a medical student, and I find that Dr. Marieb's explanations are as good or better than those in my school's recommended texts. Of course, there are details in the medical school texts that won't be found in "Human Anatomy and Physiology," but that is to be expected since the Marieb book is not aimed towards graduate level study. Nevertheless, I still refer to "Human Anatomy and Physiology" frequently during my medical school studies.
