One of the greatest books ever written

I am only half way through this book, and already I have read more truth here than I've ever read elsewhere. And believe me, I've read all the self help books. L. Ron Hubbard is a true genius and certainly one of the most important teachers in this history of mankind, period. Get this book, it will change everything.

Great explanation for what it's all about

This video really helped explain to me what exactly Dianetics is and how it works. The book is very long, and can be tough to get through - I'm in the middle of reading it now. But the video clarifies some of the basic concepts, so I fully understand the goals and basic theory behind it. After watching the video, I felt competent to take my sister in session - and she really enjoyed the sessions and felt she made some progress in dealing with a terrible loss she experienced early in life. I felt great knowing I'd actually helped her! I have watched the video a few times, and once I've finished the book, I'll watch it again.

Not for the faint of heart

This book is very helpful but not necessarily a walk in the park to use. It's all about weeding through various things that make life difficult and how you can work your way to a better state of mind. You have to be willing to work for it and if you follow the steps in the book, you get amazing results. If you don't do what it says in the book or only do it half-heartedly, you really don't get much out of it. I give 5 stars because it really does deliver. In using the book, sometimes you have to examine things about yourself that aren't so easy to face. Once you push through those things using the book, it's pretty beneficial.

A REALLY valuable way to spend an hour!

I strongly urge anyone interested in improving conditions in life to watch this DVD, I have never actually seen a DVD like this before.When I was in High School, I flunked out really bad from Psych classes and never could understand the books.The Dianetics DVD actually sets the whole subject straight.This DVD really is an excellent piece and gave me and my 12 year old niece the ability to apply Dianetics (I read the book priorly) and it really does work!
