Meh. Suitable for a study tool along with other resources.

The information can contradict the fundamentals in 2022. Good if you’re using it along with other resources. You can prob find this edition somewhere for free online. Price isn’t competitive either. Also the image is misleading, not the same page cover and the price keeps increasing. Be careful buying a more expensive one with this particular seller.

Wonderful Book for nursing students

This book is very helpful! Each chapter have mini test at the end, which is very helpful to see how much you obtained. Highly recommend for nursing students.

Poor text

Not at all happy with being forced to purchase this for school. This is one really heavy book. Might be better to find the information in other places. Overall I like the book but like others have said the information tends to be repetitive for repetitions sake.

At first, being a very green student in terms of learning nursing care, the very size of this book was intimidating. Being in an ADN-RN program, the learning if fast-paced so we often had a lot of chapters to read in a short amount of time. Though I wasn't a straight A student, I still found this book to be very helpful in aiding my understanding of the material, perhaps more now when I review it than at the time when I first read it. My favorite part is the illustrated procedure pages with step by step instructions. It covers everything from properly mitering a bed to IV therapy and so much more. I think our instructors chose well in picking this one for their first semester students. It's a great intro to learning nursing and a great review book too. I'm in my second semester and review it often while studying Med Surg.

Potter & Perry Is The Best Textbook I've Ever Used

I found this book to be very comprehensive and easy to read. I also love the illustrations. The skills are very easy to follow.

This Book is GREAT for nursing students

I have just started RN school and this is the main book we use. It is very informative,easy to understand,comprehend and has excellent examples. I think every nursing school should have this book as a requirement
