More than Corporate Worship

This is a wonderful book.It not only is appropriate for the worship team but for all christians and ministries. We are all trying to find the river in our sunday service. Whether it be through songs or the word, Once we find the river, we all, like stepping into the ocean on a really hot summer day, get refreshed, Even if you only stick your feet in the water. Recommended for all ministries. Get in the river of God and get wet.

Easy Read with Great Information

This book flows very smoothly, and it has some wonderful insights about corporate worship. I found myself saying, "I never thought of it that way" several times throughout the book. This book is for ANYONE seeking a greater worship experience.

A must read for anyone in a worship team

This is the best book I have read regrding the goal of our worship as the body of saints come together to worship God. Bob Sorge goes into detail about the certain hindrences worship leaders, and worship teams face as they worship. Bob also gives practical advice at overcoming those hindernances...This book helps in how to find the River of God as we come together to worship.

Our worship team read this book and loved it! Sorge's vision for corporate worship pushed us to strive for a deeper level within our own congregation. Chapters are short, but thought provoking. Topics include: river vs songlists, preparation and spontaneity, and worship wars. Highly recommended--this is one book you want to own! Another bonus--it's also available in spanish.

Incredible!

This is an incredible book! Bob Sorge has articulated what is on the heart of many lovesick worshipers of God. People who lead worship, and not just worship pastors, need to get a hold of the concepts that he presents. This isn't a manual on how to "do" worship, it is a primer on how to "be" worship in a corporate setting. I've been to the place of worship he describes a few times, we've hit it in our congregation a few times, but what the author describes would take us from just wishing it would happen again someday, to the expectant hope that we could demonstrate and experience this level of worship consistently in our corporate gatherings. In the span of one paragraph I found myself deep in the Spirit, then crying, then laughing, then yearning for more! Don't miss this one.
