Much better than the College Board Books

I originally bought the College Board books for my boys along with the Chemistry book by Princeton Review in a first purchase. They could not stand the College Board version of this book and asked if I could please get the Princeton Review version. They really enjoy the approach Princeton Review takes, realistic and explanatory, as opposed to the College Board's method of simply showing the answer and not how it was arrived at. Hope this review helps you!

Accurate review book

I took the math IIC test earlier today and the Princeton Review book was on target. The practice tests were very similar in difficulty level to the actual test itself, and the book's lessons and suggestions were very helpful as well as readable. I also own the Barrons review book, and while that was good to practice the toughest questions, it is really nothing like the test itself. So I recommend the Princeton Review over the Barrons to anyone looking for a sufficient review of the material and accurate practice for the exam.

Pretty good

i took the sat ii math level 2. i really didnt study too hard until like 2 weeks before the test. i only used this book and i still managed to crack 700. this book covers more info than that is actually on the test. the strategies that it gives are very helpful and if you just read through and do the examples, i am pretty sure that you could crack 700. i was only a sophomore when i took the test and i didnt even take calculus yet, so i must say, this book was sooo helpful!

Helpful, but more practice could be included

This was the only book I used for the December 3rd (2005), Math I SAT Subject test. Although this book his not perfect, here is a little back story to illustrate its usefulness. I had registered to take both Math Subject tests. Right before I was about to take the Math II, I checked with the supervisor in the room that I was able to take BOTH Math tests in one sitting. She told me no (which is FALSE, but I didn't know at that time). The whole room was waiting on me to choose which test to take so in a split second decision I went with the Math I-I recalled everyone telling me how easy it was. That seems logical, except for the fact that for some reason I did a LOT better on the Math II material (I took AP Calculus and AP Statistics in High School, so Algebra and Geometry seemed so old to me). Whatever the reason, I only took the Math I that day. For the next two weeks until I got my scores (today), I was in panic mode thinking I would be thankful if I even got a 600 because I skipped 10 out of 50 (!!!!), and had no idea how many I got wrong. I am happy to report that I turned out with a 670-So even though this book could have more practice material, it must have something going for it I got this (slightly) above average score given the stressful conditions. Overall I am pleased with this book-the flash cards really help! (Sorry for the long story...)

Ideal for review.

This book covers both of the 1C and 2C materials under one cover, with a special remark on any 2C topic when needed. The level of difficulty of the tests are very close to what a student would confront on the test day. This book will help very much to a student with a solid precalculus background who studies by himself/herself. As an educator I recommend this book to every student and educator.
