I love Ruta Sepetys books!

I have grown to become a fan of this authors books and her writing style. I especially loved this book, it made me feel for the characters. I would recommend this to anyone. This book had writing in it but I enjoyed reading those. I loved all of the characters and able to connect with them emotionally.

Best book I’ve ever read

a they sent me a different cover which sucks because I have five copies of this book all with different covers and was hoping for the one in the picture. But I absolutely love this book and fell in love with the characters. 1000% recommend to anyone and everyone.

Another fantastic book by Ruta Sepetys

Her books are well researched and tell of things that are not well known. Grabs you from the start and can't put this one down. Such a great book. One of my top ten books

Historical fiction world war ll

Beautifully written book. The author does an excellent job of taking you through the horrible experiences of life in Siberia, the bitter cold, starvation, the Horrid and terrifying life of encampment. A very touching and believable book, touching you with a beautiful story of love, courage, hope and strength of human spirit to Live.

One of the best historical fictions I've read yet! Loved it.

Grea book about Lithuanian history.

A friend gave me one of the series and loved it so much I wanted to read more from this author. Not disappointed!

So sad but a great read😢😢

Great and undertold story about Lithuania during WW2.

I was completely unaware of the way Lithuanians were treated during WW2. They are definitely under represented when people discuss the horrors of that war. Great story.

One of my all time favorite books, this is such a well written and compelling account of a Lithuanian family and their tragic journey through Russian labor camps. It is a tear jerker, and incredibly insightful, even though the story isn't true, the elements of truth portrade about the events that happened durring the Stalin era are eye opening.
