Less Directed

This volume of Georgia Nicholson's diary is less directed that the first three. Georgia is concerned about having snogged Dave the Laugh earlier and is following the Sex God's music career which seems to be really taking off. It looks like he will be on tour in Hamburger-a-go-go-land (the United States). She would really like to go along on the trip but there is almost nothing of her plans on how to do so. The real unifying theme is Angus and the cat across the road and her pregnancy. But otherwise it is just Georgia reacting to school, family, friends and the universe. But despite the lack of any real theme, this is a very funny book. Smiles and laughter accompanied my reading of this book more than during the third volume. Definitely a very fun read. My only actual problem with the book is that Georgia herself seems a little meaner or callous in this book. That doesn't detract from the humor, but I think it hurts reader's ability to really like her. But you will have to read it and decide for yourself.

I wish I could got to Mariachi-a-gogo land!

This was by far one of the funniest books I have read in this series! I loved every minute of it. I read it really fast and laughed out loud too many times to count. The ending is a surprise, but it is worth reading the rest of the book, of course. Georgia is very interesting and keeps you wondering about her sanity throughout the book. Many things happen and I hope there is a fifth book, because you are certainly left on a cliff-hanger. This was fabbity-fab-fab!

As good as the other three...

If you want a funny and light read, this would be the one. If you have never read the first three books, start from the very first one. They are very addictive. Once you start, you won't want to put them down until you have finished them. The reading level is elementary, and therefore, you'll be able to finish a book a day. I laugh out loud when I read these books. The author has presented this young girl's life with vivid descriptions and much creativity.

It will leave you wanting to dance in your Nuddy Pants!

Dancing in my Nuddy Pants was a wonderful continuation to Louise Rennison's British series that started with Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal snogging. I have read all of her books since they came out and she continues to amaze me with her creative new words (i.e. blog, wisdomosity) and catchy phrases. This is a great book for teenage girls and I definitely have to say that this book will have you laughing nonstop. So don't read this one when other people are around!

the third book in the series'Knocked out by my nunga nungas" was good,but a little lack luster compared to the first two, but it lacked in plot, and was too short.But I still wasn't too dissapointed, and prayed to God that there would be a new book coming out soon from the series.(I mean, I'm a devoted fan for life,these books got me speakin' British in L.A.!).But this book totally picked up where the first two left off.It still wasn't as good as the first two, but it still kicked butt.These books are my guiltiest pleasure and my total obssession.they tend to bring out the fun even on my dreariest days.
