A Good Read !!

If you like/love Tracy and Hepburn in movies, you'll love this book. It's a true account of their lives and how their affair came about, how it was hidden to the world (insiders in Hollywood knew all about it). In fact, it was so well hidden (Kate used to always slip in the back way at hotels), that Tracy's wife upon meeting Hepburn told her she was shocked, that she thought the affair was only a rumor. A very good read, you won't be disappointed.

A Great Love Story

I have always thought that Tracy and Hepburn were a Great couple in Movies, but they were amazing in real life too. The book was a very good history of each of their lives and how they became intertwined. I think it is one of the best books that I have ever read.

Memorable

I found An Affair to Remember a truly remarkable portrait of Hepburn and Spencer's lives (before and after they met). The book was interesting and well written. A great pick for anyone interested in either actor.

A book for all the hopless romantics out there.

One of the best books I have ever read. A great love story for the romantic in all of us. Chronicals the ups and downs of a relationship on the sly with a love that would last a lifetime. Very sad, yet a love we all wish we could find. I couldn't put it down.

Sentimental look at the greatest love story of this century

I thought this book was a wonderfully touching and moving account of the Tracy and Hepburn pairing on screen and off. The beginning of the book included fascinating histories of both of these stars early years, from childhood through to their stardom. It seemed to be an honest portrayal of their strengths and weaknesses. Her refusal to bend to anyone, but Tracy. Spencer's losing battle with alcohol. It explains in detail how they hid their romance for 28 years, from sneaking in the back entrances of hotels to renting a small cottage on the back property of a close friend. Their romance was a true love story in every sense of the word. This book definitely gives you the warm fuzzies after reading it. I highly recommend it.
