I understand used books but not with peoples names in it and writing on it .

Writing in the books are not acceptable to me . Used books yes … I got Bible and then complained about the writing and then they sent another one that was worse then the first . Really guys come on .

Great kids bible

Not the Bible I ordered it was supposed to be leather-bound but other than that love Bible

Adventure Bible - This was not the Bible I needed for the group I am involved with. It was an older

Soiled Pages. Not the recent version.

It looks really good but it has writing in it that wasn't disclosed.

My son loves it

This version pf the bible is great for kids.My son is 12 and he loves it..its easy to read and understand. It also has sudy notes which i belive are helpful.

Wonderful

I am very pleased with this bible for my grand daughter. Even though it only recommends up to age 12and she is 14 .I think this is Bible is meant for teens as well. I was just looking it over and could hardly put it down.Praise The Lord

Exceptional Bible for children

I bought each of my children the Adventure Bible, Revised, NIV. My daughters read it every night. This bible is easy for kids to read and understand.

Great for family devotions

My 11 year old son has this Bible and we use it to do our family devotions. There are 'Lets Live It' sections that point out a specific Bible passage and then ask some questions to solidify our understanding and make the Bible relevent to our lives today.Other attractive qualities include "did you know?",with definitions of difficult terms, "words to remember" and "Bible times" all geared to increase undrestanding of God's word. There are also brightly colored pages with the ten commandments, 12 disciples and other important information. There are also maps in the back.I would recommend it for anyone from 8-15 and parents like it too.

Bible with great explanations for children

I am a preschool minister of a medium sized church. I have bought this Bible to give to all the children that promote from Kindergarten to first grade for the past ten years. I have not found any other Bible that meets the child's needs as he grows older and is not intimidating to a six year-old.
