It changed my outlook

Excellent book. Highly recommended. It has changed how I look at the sheep and the shepherd I will read again.

Easy Read & a sweet little book

This book really explains what is involved in being a shepherd and what the life of the animals is like. Many biblical references and this really helps what is truly being referred to. Loved this little book.

So much more

Philip Keller uses his life experiences as an actual sheep herd owner and with sheepherders around the world to help one to visualize and attain a deep emotional understanding of what the author shepherd David truly meant when he saw God as his personal shepherd. I often pray this prayer over loved ones and now I can add this deeper understanding. I have gifted this book to many grateful folks.

Great read

It was a great read. Loved how they broke down the meaning of Psalm 23

One of the best I have ever written

This explain the 23 psalm

Fantastic read!

I have been so pleased with this book. The insights are so helpful in helping to fully understand the Lord and His deep love, compassion and diligence for us. He is the ultimate Shepherd and this author does a fantastic job illustrating this message to us.

The Best Book on Psalm 23

This is the best book on Psalm 23. I have read almost all the books on Psalm 23 (commentaries, sermons and critical books) in the Bible (and Shepherd Motif/Imagery). I used to feel to hit a wall to preach Psalm 23 for a long time. The author truly breaks the wall to open my eyes. This is one of the first books that I use for discipleship and leadership training for the churches that I ministered for last 15 years. And I have bought a few hundred copies to my fellow Christians to appreciate Psalm 23. Richard K. Min, Dallas, Texas

A Fresh Look at the Good Shepherd: Psalm 23

This little book provides a deeper, richer vision of the Good Shepherd in the context of Psalm 23.The role of the Shepherd in the lives of sheep; leader, comforter, caregiver, provider, protector, and owner brings rich spiritual insights to Jesus' role in the life of the believer. The parallels are insightful, moving, and profoundly relevant to the Christian experience.Using personal stories from life as a shepherd accompanied by illustrations drawn from the scripture, Keller provides concerete, specific narrative about being a sheep as well as being a shepherd! This is a sweet gem of a book bringing to life a favorite passage of scripture.

Insightful and revealing about our relationship with God.

This book is great. It gives you a glimpse into life as a shepherd and the qualities of sheep, good and bad. Philip Keller writes articulately and expounding on one of the best loved passages in scripture. Get this book if you can, it is worth it.
