Another classic traditional romance from Betty Neels - sweet, satisfying romance without any sexy scenes. Description from the book back cover: Julie Beckworth enjoyed her work as a medical secretary at St Bravo's Hospital in London, so when her boss, Professor Smythe, announced his retirement Julie panicked. She was partly reassured when Professor Simon van der Driesma offered to keep her on. But Simon was younger and worked Julie much harder - all of which she could have accepted if he would only call her Julie, and not 'Miss Beckworth' in that cool voice! This is a sweet and very romantic book about Julie who is a secretary to Simon a doctor.Julie is assigned to work for Simon when her previous boss had to retire.She is reluctant to work for him as she finds him not very friendly and he also at first is not to happy to inherit her.Gradually they find themselves unwillingly thinking about each other and then they fall in love. What is endearing about it is that Betty Neels very skillfully writes about their journey towards falling in love and also what was really nice was that Simon's feelings were also described by this author so making it more enjoyable.
