Good information about what happened. I only had pieces from the news media. Salute to the Operators

The detail of what the operators and people that worked with the Embassy had/has to put Up with. The dangers. The first big mistake was putting a local contingent in charge of the gate. They abandoned their post and left the gate unlocked. The intruders gained immediate control of the compound. They set fire to everything including the building Stevens and communication officer Smith were in. This led to their deaths. The whole situation before and during was bad. Read the book.
