  At last... I am enrapt...

"If Mara should run rampant, if men's souls become corrupt and my word can no longer reach them the time will come for the true power of Lotis to awaken. Masters who receive the lost word will surely appear."

Under the stress of both Mayura and Alice's Father's disappearance Alice's Mother becomes bedridden and must be admitted to the hospital. Kyo and Frey decide to stay with Alice while her mother is convalescing. This becomes difficult for Alice, who as of yet has still not revealed to Kyo how she feels, but a phone call from Mayura becomes priority as the three enter the maram (inner heart) of her Father to find the two of them.

While there the three encounter a greater threat, the emperor of Evil, Darva, has taken Mayura. Alice and Kyo manage to rescue her and bring her back from the depth of the mara, but she seems different after the whole experience, and her clear amnesia from certain events causes some concern for Alice. Frey reveals that the prophecy that predicted Darva's return also predicts the emergence of two Lotis Masters, and he believes that Kyo and Alice are the chosen ones. More complications arise when Kyo tries to end his relationship with Mayura, now that she is back, and Alice decides to tell him how she feels, but a curse of hatred branded onto Kyo's flesh by Mayura himself may prevent Alice from ever getting the chance to tell him how she feels.

Now the series is starting to really interest me... I think it's safe to say that Watase is developing it nicely. I will keep reading and enjoying it, and I encourage all manga fans to do so as well.

  in love

Oh my gosh, I'm in love with the alice 19th series, even though I just turned 13, I couldn't remember how to comment, so I came here. If you're ever thinking of buying the Alice 19th series by Yuu Watase, the only ? I have for you is WHY HAVEN'T YOU ALREADY READ THEM?!? they are fabulous books that will make you laugh and cry, and for those really intense moments, they just make them even better! I'm totally obsessed, and even though I can't speak Japanese yet, I'm learning and I'm going to go to college in Japan... I just hope everyone will except the fact that I'm not actually Japanese. But enough about me, The books are truly incredible and anyone who reads them will fall in love with all of the witty characters( including the sometimes excentric Frey!) :) after you're done with Alice, Iadoki is another great Yuu Watase series to check out! Until next time...
