Trump: The Art of the Comeback

This was fun and easy to read, and enlightening to those of us who are not in the fast lane. I can see why people like this man so much. If anyone can do away with the handshake in the West, he can, and while you are at it, Mr. Trump, how about getting us on the metric system? Who can blame him for boasting? This book makes me want to read more biography. Thank you, Kate and Don.

Whatever you think of Trump, its his combination of managed egomania, stories from his experiences, and willingness to tell all that make this a work of art. While not intended to be a textbook on dealmaking, The Donald offers up much insight into how he came back from oblivion. It's important to understand that, in Manhattan, in the real estate industry, and in life generally, sheer ability does not determine one's business success. Trump realizes that and offers a broad view of his life for the six years since he last wrote a bestseller, during which he spent most of the time in magnate Siberia. While not for the faint at heart, anyone with an interest in Trump's unique method of making a buck will enjoy this book.

Gives hope to all of us that when the chips really get us down, we can survive and succeed. I really admire and am a devoted fan of Donald Trump. Just wish he was living in Texas and looking for a Texas single gal. I do thank him for all the insights to survival.

The guy lays out his financial comeback. But, the real point of the book is an entertaining display of upbeat publicity and cheer he has brought to New York. Over the years he's been a one man Marshall Plan for the City.

Everyone either loves or hates Donald Trump! He is what we all want to be. He says and does what we all want to say and do. A very successfull businessman is probably someone that many of us would not like. In order to be able to do what they do , they have to have a large dose of ego and self confidence. They must be assertive. We the little people spend thousands reading inspirational books, attending seminars, and all the rest of that stuff to be successful, searching for that millionaire mentality, yet we condem it when we find someone who really has it! I enjoyed the book immensely. Yes there was a lot of DONALD, but so what? Read it, and learn!
