  Good Book, but somewhat spartan

Quite a helpful book for a beginning student pilot, but somewhat spartan and also somewhat difficult reading. However, a very good resource for the beginning pilot none-the-less. Looking forward to the new edition shipping soon.

  Excellent technical content about flying

First of all, this book is in no way a story. It is almost like a textbook full of the technical aspects of flying.I would say that the author should have chosen a different title for this book because there are no regards to the career pathway of becoming a pilot. It is full of excellent information that teaches you about the instruments and technicalities of an airplane and the physics of an airplane in flight. Some of the information is outdated because of huge technological advances but it can be a good foundation for learning. This book is a definite yes for anyone who is looking into taking ground school.

  A great book and Tool.

A great book! If you want to get your pilots license, this book will give you a basic knowledge of airplane operation. If you read this book it will also provent you from running out the door when they start teaching you the boring groundschool stuff.
