This book has alot of easy and good examples.

Frontpage 2000 (no experience required) treats you as a completely un experiensed web builder. Frontpage is actually an easy and well organized program. Its not that different from WORD and it has all the html codes transfered easly through simple work.

You will gain a solid, basic understanding of FrontPage.

This was a good learning tool but not a great one. I feel I received a good introduction to FrontPage 2000 but there were too few hands-on examples. While there were examples to follow, you had to build the web page structure on your own without any clear guidance before you could experiment. I would have preferred to see the basics of the example built and available on Sybex's Internet site. Let the reader download them and follow the examples in the book. The size of the examples and the download time would have been very minor. We're not talking about a full web site structure just some small HTML pages. That difference would have changed my opinion from generally positive to extremely positive.

Don't misunderstand, this is a good beginner / early intermediate book. It hits the target audience well. I feel that with a little customer-friendly tweak, it would be an excellent book.

A superb easily readable introduction to FrontPage 2000.

This is an extremely readable computer book -which is a novelty for many manuals. If you're not a total expert, but want to learn quickly without wading through a 1000+ page manual, this is the book for you. It's concise, accurate and well written. There are plenty of illustrations, so no worries about being overwhelmed by theory. I highly recommend this book if your looking for a good solid, but not overly complicated, introduction to the world of Front Page 2000 -even if you have used other versions of FrontPage, you may still find this is the book that gives you what you need in a simple and easily understandable form. Bravo!
