Orb had a rare gift--the magic which manifested whenever she sang or played her harp. No one could resist her music. But she knew that greater magic lay in the Llano, the mystic music that controlled all things. The quest for the Llano occupied Orb's life. Until she met Natasha, handsome and charming, and an even finer musician. But her mother Niob...

  A book to Sing about.

Alright! Another family member. Orb. The Green Mother. Nature herself. This novel is excellently written. So well that when the music was describe I could actually hear it. No the radio wasn't playing, I just knew what it was to sound like. Orb is an interesting mortal and a fabulous Incarnation. Her life has been as entertwined as the treads of fate, I wonder why? HA HA But in all seriousness I found this novel a perfect addition to the series. Now I HAVE to read the others.

  Excellent Book

Absolutely wonderful! I enjoyed every minute. Orb and Nature have always been my favorites in the series, and thank you Piers Anthony for writing about them! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys music, Nature, and Chaos.

I persanaly Feel that this is the best of all 7 books.

Why the hell didnt this book get 5 stars? Its the best of all of them.It finally wraps up the end, well origanally it did then good and evil came into the picture

  One of the best

I read this book only to continue reading this series in order, but when I finished, I was glad I did. It was simply amazing. Admittedly, it did drag in parts. But watching Orb progress throughout her life, learning how to be Gaea and not realizing it, was interesting, and a different spin in the rest of the books. The Natasha story line, and the ending of the book just left me stunned. Speechless. I had to reread the last chapter a couple of times. I'm quickly reading through another book right now so I read For Love of Evil, and find out some of Satan's thoughts on what was going on there. DEFINITELY read this book ... be warned, however ... even though all of the Incarnations books say they stand alone, it really helps to read the series in order.

The Second Best Book in the Series

This book is one you can reread at least 3 times. It is in my opininon the second best book next to On A Pale Horse. If you like Piers Anthony or your new to his writing definitly order this book.
