  Amazing!

I read the first 4 from the Vampire Diaries before I read the Twilight books. I fell in love. I honestly thought the series was over when Elena came back in Dark Reunion. I was so excited when I found out there was more!
The book started out amazing. I LOVED how Elena was like a baby. It showed how much Stefan loved her because he took care of her. The ending left me breathless though. I have to wait til March to find out what will happen next. I hate these cliffhangers. Overall the book kept me entertained. I read the majority of it over the weekend. To those who say they were disappointed... Well maybe they just didn't understand the book. Idk. I loved it anyway. I'd suggest it to all of The Vampire Diaries fans. I NEED STEFAN BACK!!! I can't wait til March!!!

  Wow!

I loved this book from beginning to end. I literally could not stop reading it. I can't wait for Shadow Souls. I'm a huge L.J. Smith fan. She and her writing have matured with the passage of time. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.

  Still love these books

I bought two of these books. One for my sister who is in the Marines and one for myself. We both read these books at 14 and 15 in 1996. So when we found out the author came out with a new book we were more than excited. This book was still as good as the others but it feels like a totally different atmosphere in this one. And only one "What just happened?!" moment. But I am interested to see where Ms. Smith takes this story line. Also excited for the new TV show and wondering how that is going to go since the story line has been completely changed.

  Books Vs TV Series

The books and the tv series are like two totally different story lines. However, I still enjoyed both. The books are definitely worth the time to read. Will you recognize the story line if you have only watched the series? No.

  Intriguing...

Although the television version doesn't exactly follow the same plot as the book, the details and suspense still keep me interested. I am looking forward to season 2 in the fall!
