Just one more book in the all-encompassing, enthralling, and utterly absorbing Left Behind Series

From the very first letter of the alphabet that my eyes looked upon inside this series of books, until the very last period of the very last sentence, I was hooked. Each one of these books absorbed my attention like no other book has ever done in my life. Biblically sound, theatrically entertaining, and brilliantly written, the Left Behind books will inspire you to dig into God's word and take the pieces of news from your T.V. screen and match them right smack-dab up with the prophecies of the Bible. Your hair will stand up, your heart will race, and you will find yourself helplessly caught in the suspense. Once you finish one of these books, you will desperately race to your computer screen or your local library to pick up the next one!

Another winner in the Left Behind series

I have read all the books in this series and found them all to be both educational and inspirational. This book in particular gets me thinking about taking responsibility for the choices I make in this life and how it effects my spiritual growth. One of the best parts of reading this series was watching the characters grow up, and following their path to Jesus Christ and salvation.

  left behind books

I have enjoyed all the left behind books. I'm sad to see them ending. Although they are fiction they still follow along with Biblical events quite accurately. If you are questioning whether there is a God or not read these books.

  Left behind series

I can't recomment these books enough. I've read through them twice and donated them to our local radio stations library (WRGN - Sweet Valley, PA).

  Loved it!!!

I am loving this book. I am not finished reading it, but I was thrilled to find it. I really do love the characters and unlike other reviewers, I don't find the characters weak, just more mature and relaxed. Here they are living with Jesus on earth...almost paradise. As children are born to the believers who were left after the Glorious Appearing, they have to make a choice of whether to follow Jesus or the other light. There is definitely a conflict there and it's building up to this battle in the end. Unlike others, I loved the idea that the actual people who were in the Bible like Noah and Joshua and Caleb were the ones retelling their stories. It was not boring and I have to admit, it gave me pause to look at things from a perspective I had not before.

**For example, we have read about the lives of the Old Testament heros and their stories and their obedience to God, but still there are those of us that still don't accept the Lord as their Saviour.
Okay. Just imagine, the people who were not raptured and made it through the tribulation, and after becoming believers, the judgment of God and for a time were the only ones left on Earth for Jesus' millenial reign. No one but believers were left! Okay. Then as children were born, some of them chose not to follow their parents, but to turn away from God, even though they heard from their parents of all the miraculous things that God did for them.
All through the book I could not believe that these "children" were turning against God, even though they knew what He did for their parents and their parent's parents and each generation that followed through the millenium. Then it struck me!!! We living now are like those "children"! How do we not accept God and Jesus Christ as Saviour knowing all we know from not only the Old Testament, but the New Testament! The choice is yours, but how can you not choose Christ!

Back to the book, I do wish some of the other characters who gave their lives along the way were mentioned more than once, but it does not take away a thing from this book. As with the rest of the books in the series, it is written very simply and plainly and is easy to understand. I can't wait to finish it.

***Update***
I just finished the book and it is awesome. I must have cried almost the last third of the book. Even though it is fiction, it is based on the Holy Bible and it evidenced once again how great the Lord our God is and how He loves us and wants that none should perish! I urge you if you are not a believer, that you ask God to come into your life and forgive your sins. He loves you no matter what you have done in the past, to Him you are His own. Don't get left behind.
