  Great Graduation Gift

Liked the format of interviews and comments from actual students. Easy to find information on lots of topics, plus helpful lists. Practical ideas for new college students and their parents.

A book that will get read

We wanted a book that would help our daughter prepare for her freshman year of school away from home, and this book worked. The content is helpful and its written in a low-key style with quotes from a number of different college students for an easy and compelling read. Our daughter was fascinated once she got started which meant she (rather than her mother and father) ended up doing a good deal of the thinking about her first year. That was a triumph. Finally, the authors' use of a wide variety of sources means there are also a wide variety of suggested strategies. That worked too--it reminded everyone in the family that even though the stakes seem high, there are lots of different ways for things to work out well for our daughter and us over the next four years.

  Good Tips and Easy Reading

This is a worth while purchase.
Easy to read - not written in novel form.
