  Miss Julia's School of Beauty

This book is a romp with "Miss Julia" through a local beauty pagent. Of course, there's a potential scandal that Miss Julia is trying to keep under wraps in her usual spunky way.

  Throughly enjoyable!

I did enjoy this book. I did think that maybe they were going to do something a bit more exciting, but this book did prove to be entertaining none the less.

I do agree that Miss Julia was a bit not like herself, but I think that also proves that sometimes acting so aggressive is not the way to act. I think her and Sam make a wonderful couple and although the droning on and on about Sam and Etta Mae did drive me a bit bonkers, I love the story.

I wish the book would have gone more into what would happen with the "preacher" but oh well!!

Well executed, wholesome book. Good enough to sit on my shelves for a few years that the kids will want to read one day!

  Absolutely Wonderful

The ladies of my family and I have all read these books. We have started our own reading group. It's very rare that women of three different generations can enjoy the same book. Everyone from my 75 year old grandmother to my 14 year old couisn. Very much enjoyed these books.
