Woody's books is great! My order arrived in just a few days, and the text book I ordered was actually much nicer than I expected. (It was purchased "used"). They followed my order with an e-mail to make sure I was satisfied, and said the items, even though used, could be returned if they were not what I wanted. I'd use Woody's again, and recommend them to anyone.

I have used COMO SE DICE as a text book to teach Spanish in a military college. COMO SE DICE has concise, clear explanations for every Grammar subject, as well as excellent exercises for the students to practice. Written by two Latin American professors and one Spanish professor, useful expressions and vocabulary are both, from the old "Motherland", and the new Hispanic world. I highly recommend it.

As a Spanish professor with mostly freshmen students, I found this book to be a very comprehensive introduction to Spanish grammar and vocabulary. Every chapter begins with a dialogue that succinctly presents the vocabulary and grammar without being contrived. Each chapter then continues on to present 3-4 grammar points with clear explinations and good examples. I used the first half of the text for one semester and the second half for the following semester. I've taught from many texts, including my own; but this was one of the best and easiest to follow. I'd highly reccommend this to any high school teacher or college professor, but it's not for the student who seeks independent study.
